Why I really hate baboons so much. StoryTime with Andrew St Pierre White

Truth is, I don't really hate baboons. But I do dislike them. Quite a lot. And I just want them to stay away from me while I'm camping.

But this run-in with them many years ago was not the first, but makes one of my best bush campfire stories. It took place in the Okavango when Gwynn and I ran Delta Camp (Tau Camp) and forms part of Torn Trousers, our bestselling memoir.

Welcome to StoryTime.

TOYOTA LAND CRUISER REAR AXLE issue. 70-Series

Having owned several 70--series Land Cruisers, including a 79, 76 and two 78 troop carriers', I decided to correct the narrow rear axle using a product made by Multi-Drive of Geelong, VIC, Australia. Here are my findings and advice to anyone considering the same..

One of the WORST products I've ever reviewed.

What a let-down! Normally, the ARB name promises quality, but here is a product that lets the name down.

This is the review of the ARB Tire Pressure Monitoring System (external type). Suitable for 4x4, 4WD vehicles, monitoring tyre pressures, but no temperature. This is my review shot over seven weeks trying to get it to work. Even after I had the first one replaced, I never got it to work as I expected it to.

BFG KM3 MUD TIRE - REVIEW

To try out BFGoodrich's new mud tire, I took it all the way across Australia, and by no means by the easy route. These are my conclusions and why I made this video.

This is the world's first review of the BFGoodrich Radial Mud-Terrain T/A KM3. This is the fifth generation of BFG's mud-terrain tire.

I was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser 78-series Troop Carrier that has been modified into a camper. The sizes fitted were 285/75R15.  I have been informed by BFG that the BFGoodrich KM3 will be available in the USA and Australia from June 2018. Other countries will soon follow.

FINDING ANGIE'S G-SPOT. Road Trip Adventure in South Africa

During my 42 years living in South Africa, there were few places I didn't visit. In this three-part series I tell some of those road-trip stories to lesser known places that up to now have not only not made it onto YouTube, but some that have never even made it onto my TV series, blog and website. This is part-1 of 3.

WHY I DRIVE A TOYOTA 4WD | StoryTIME with Andrew St Pierre White

My relationship with Toyota spans 20 years, from 1994 when I wrote my second book, to 2014 when Toyota South Africa finally handed over the keys of the Land Cruiser Troop Carrier. That was in South Africa and the conclusion of that and many projects. Since that time I have had no connection or link with Toyota in any country. But I look back on it as one of the best experiences of my professional career. And it moved me from being solely interested in Land Rovers, to a life driving all kinds of 4WD. And, I have to admit, why I now drive a Toyota Land Cruiser. This is that story.

Bug Out Emergency Grab Bag for Overlanders and Preppers

This is my Bug Out Bag reverse-engineered so that you can see what's inside, and the purposes and thinking behind all its contents. It is designed for remote overland travel and also suitable for preppers wanting an emergency grab bag for those unexpected events that may result in the need for a sudden evacuation of home or town. It contains the tools necessary to ensure your survival for a minimum of 48 hours.

NOTE. Driving through the surf as displayed is a VERY bad idea. The corrosion that results is unavoidable. I recommend you don't do it. I was following someone else to a venue during an incoming tide. It was not wise at all, and I was not happy about it.

Rolex Submariner | STORY TIME with Andrew St Pierre White

It is exactly 37 years today that I purchased my wrist watch, the one commented on by so many YouTube viewers. So I thought I should do a story about it. It is a Rolex Oyster Submariner 1680 date in stainless steel, purchased 8 January 1981. I wear it every day.
